Kesar Phirni


Ingredients:
  • 2&1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Rice
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almond&pistachios
  • Few strands of saffron
Direction:
  1. Soak rice for 1 hour.
  2. After 1 hour drain the rice and grind the rice to make a paste. 
  3. Boil the milk.Add rice paste dissolved in a little water.  
  4. Boil till rice is completely cooked, stirring constantly. 
  5. Add saffron and mix well. Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook till sugar is completely dissolved. 
  6. Chill in a refrigerator for an hour before serving.
