Milk Cake

Ingredients:
  • 8 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • lemon juice  (for making paneer)
  • sliced almonds or pistachio for garnishing
Directions:

Making Paneer:
  1. Boil 4 cups of milk in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add the lemon juice gradually and stir the milk gently. 
  3. Take out paneer with the help of muslin cloth.
  4. Rinse under cold water to take out the sour of lemon.Take out the excess water.
Making Milk-Cake:
  1. Boil remaining 4 cups of the milk in a pan until the milk reduces to about two cups.
  2. Add the paneer in the milk and form a soft dough.
  3. Add the sugar and continue to cook while it become a soft lump.
  4. Pour it over greased plate and garnish it with pistachio and almonds.
