Mathura ka Peda


Ingredients:

  • 2 cup Grated Mawa
  • 2 cup Powder Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cardamom Powder
  • 2-3 Tablespoon Ghee
  • 2-3 Tablespoon Milk as needed
  • 1/2 cup Castor Sugar
  • Garnishing Almond & Pistachios


Directions:

  1. Take Mawa in a frying pan and heat for 5 mins so that it comes to room temperature.
  2. Add ghee and fry the mawa at low heat till it turns golden brown ( it might take around 30 minutes)
  3. While frying mawa, if you feel mawa is getting very dry add some milk
  4. Wait for 10 mins and after that add sugar and mix it well.
  5. Make peda out of this, and roll them in castor sugar.
  6. Garnish with almond & pistachios
