Baked Version Of Namak Pare


Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Whole Wheat flour (atta)
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 cup+2 tablespoon Water
  • Salt as per taste
Direction:
  1. Take a bowl mix both the flour,carom seeds,baking powder and salt. 
  2. Add ghee and rub it with fingertips to get crumby consistency.
  3. With the help of water make a stiff dough.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minute.
  5. Preheat the oven at 250 degree Fahrenheit and 120 degree Celsius.
  6. After 15 minute divide the dough in two equal parts. 
  7. Roll out the dough into a half centimeter
  8.  thick like chapati.
  9. Cut the rolled out dough into diamond shaped pieces.
  10. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil and grease with ghee and place them on a baking tray.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 -20 minute.
