Ingredients:
- 8 cups Grated Carrot
- 8 cups Milk
- 4 tablespoon Ghee
- 1&1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds + 1 teaspoon (for garnishing)
- 2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- Few strands of Saffron (optional)
Direction:
- Melt ghee in a large pan at medium heat.
- Add grated carrot in the pan, and fry for 5-7 minute.
- After that add milk and cook for 50-60 minute or until milk dries up.
- Then add sugar,cardamom powder,almonds and saffron and stir for another 20-30 minute or till halwa starts leaving the corner of the pan.
- Turn off the heat. Garnish it with sliced almonds.
- Serve hot or at normal temperature.
