Ingredients:
- 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Carom seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon Kasori methi
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
- 5 tablespoon Oil
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for fry
- Take a bowl mix both the flour, carom seeds, cumin seeds, red chili powder, kasori methi, asafoetida and salt.
- Add oil and rub it with fingertips to get crumby consistency.
- With the help of water make a stiff dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minute.
- After 15 minute divide the dough in 3 equal parts.
- Roll out the dough into a half centimeter thick like chapati.
- Cut the rolled out dough into diamond shaped pieces.
- Heat the oil on medium heat.
- Deep fry the diamond pieces until they turn golden brown from both the sides.
